Introducing Father Anthony

Father Anthony was born and raised in Kenya. In a family of seven children he is the 4th. He thanks his parents for his faith whose love and support enabled Father Anthony to strive further in a life of loving Christ and reaching out to others. He attended the seminary in Kenya studying Philosophy and Religious Studies for three years. Then he continued studying Theology for four years, receiving a B.A in Theology from Pontifical University of Urbaniana, Rome in 1999. In October 199 he was ordained a priest in the Diocese of Kitale, Kenya. He came to Canada in 2005 and attended the University of St. Michaels College, Toronto, where he completed graduate studies in Pastoral Theology receiving Th.M and S.T.L at Regis College, Toronto. Since then, he has committed himself to serving the church in the Archdiocese of Toronto. He served in several diverse Parishes in the diocese that have broadened his pastoral experience. Father Anthony says, "I am delighted to have been given a chance to serve as the Pastor of St. Mary’s Parish. I look forward to my new appointment and creating a new chapter in my vocational story." We welcome Father Anthony to the St. Marguerite d'Youville community.
